President of UQM Joseph Mitchell Visits Fast

On August 27, Joseph Mitchell (Zhou Chi), President & CEO of American company UQM visited Fast. Mr. Yan Jianbo, Party Secretary and Board Chairman of FAST Group, welcomed the guests. Both sides held in-depth talks on cooperation and development at Xi'an High-tech Plant of Fast. Lin Yizhen, Vice President and General Manager of UQM Asia, Wang Shunli, Vice General Manager of Fast Group, and Liu Yi, Vice General Manager of Fast Group attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Mr. Yan Jianbo introduced the innovative development of enterprise, strategic plan and international trade, etc. He said Fast has strong innovation and R&D capability and intelligent manufacturing capability. Fast focuses on providing high quality products and good service to global customers through being specialized and professional in the field of automobile transmission system, and constant transformation and upgrading to be professional, intelligent and high-end oriented. Fast’s products are widely exported to more than 10 countries and regions like the United States, Japan, Australia and eastern Europe, South America, southeast Asia, the Middle East and so on. Domestic market share of Fast heavy duty truck transmissions is over 70%. The company has established good strategic cooperative relations with Caterpillar, Eaton, Wabco, Shell, Daimler and many other internationally renowned enterprises, and set up an overseas factory in Thailand. With the deepening of the "New Four Modernizations" of electrification, intelligence, networking and sharing, Fast is willing to cooperate with UQM to promote the steady development of the automobile industry.

President Zhou Chi highly appreciated Fast’s development and achievements, and hoped to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with Fast to create a better future for both sides. Before the discussion. President Zhou Chi and his team, accompanied by Vice General Managers Wang Shunli and Liu Yi, visited Fast Auto Transmission Engineering Research Institute, Experimental Center and Wuwansi Combined Workshop (combined workshop of 54,000 square meters).
